Second Print of ‘Daughters of the War Tribe’ Book Released

According to Mehr News Agency, the second print of the book ‘Daughters of the War Tribe,’ written by Saideh Zeraatkar, has been released by Soroush Publications.

This book contains narratives about women and girls who, despite all the hardships and difficulties during the imposed war (Iran-Iraq War), stood firm and played important roles in defending the country. ‘Daughters of the War Tribe’ focuses on the lives and sacrifices of women who, whether on the front lines or behind them, bravely and selflessly confronted the enemy.

Zeraatkar has endeavored in this work to portray real stories of Iranian women’s resistance with a warm and fluid pen. She stated in an interview with Mehr News Agency: ‘My main goal in writing this book was to highlight the often-overlooked role of women in the Sacred Defense and to transmit these experiences to future generations.’

This book falls under the category of resistance literature and, in addition to its narrative accounts, contains psychological analyses of women’s resilience in crisis situations. It is anticipated that this edition, like the first, will be widely welcomed by readers.
