Unveiling of the First Reference on Iranology and Iranian Tourism in Serbian Language
Tehran – Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) reports that the first comprehensive reference on Iranology and Iranian tourism in the Serbian language was unveiled in Tehran, attended by cultural and diplomatic officials from both countries.
Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati, Head of the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Discernment Council, stated at the ceremony: ‘This book is an important step in introducing Iran’s rich civilization to the world, especially to the Balkan countries.’
He added: ‘The publication of such works in various languages paves the way for cultural and tourism exchanges.’
This book, prepared in collaboration with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and the Iranian Cultural Attaché in Serbia, includes extensive information on Iran’s history, culture, art, civilization, and tourist attractions. This reference work was authored by Dr. Parviz Shahbazi and published by ‘Farzan Ruz’ Publications.
The aim of publishing this reference was stated to be a better introduction of Iran to the people of Serbia and to strengthen cultural and tourism relations between the two countries.
The unveiling took place at the Sa’adi Foundation and was welcomed by the Serbian Ambassador in Tehran.
