Yalda literary competition for Hormozgan students will be held
Ali Bahramshahi told the reporter of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas: Hafez reading (in video form) of ghazal number 126 ‘The soul without the beloved’s beauty has no desire for the world’, calligraphy with the pen based on ‘I am free from the day I became bound to you’, and short story writing with a focus on humor (maximum 1000 words) are the focus areas of this Yalda literary competition.
He stated: All students in Hormozgan province have the opportunity to participate in this competition until December 30th (Yalda night) and can submit their works to the Poetry, Literature, and Writing Association of Farhangian University.
