Winners of the Fifth Youth Book of the Year Award Honored
According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the closing ceremony of the Fifth Youth Book of the Year Award was held on Monday, Azar 24th [December 15th], in the presence of a group of writers and cultural figures at the Assembly Hall of the Securities and Exchange Organization.
Meysam Movahedfar, secretary of the Fifth Youth Book of the Year Award, said at the ceremony: “For years, we have been striving to create activities for young people. If all Iranians throughout history had not cared for Iran, perhaps no name would have remained for us in geography; it is we who have worked hard to stay strong, and I believe there is much hope in despair. I know these young people will make Iran’s future bright.”
He added, stating that this award is not specific to one guild: “Days will come when we are proud of Iran’s growth and glory. This award is the most comprehensive award in the country after the Islamic Republic of Iran Book of the Year Award, and this event covers the youth age group, from 15 to 29 years old.”
Movahedfar continued: “This award is for individuals who prioritize scientific work creation and research. I hope this award continues, and the names of all its contributors are honored. Even during the war and aggression of the Zionist regime, the secretariat of this event was active and received works from young people. I hope we have been successful, and that those who receive awards in this event proudly continue their hopeful path.”
