Safavids or Qajars, which one gave more importance to religious rituals?

According to Khabaronline News Agency quoting Ibna in Rasht, the book “Sur o Soog e Niaakan; Comparing the Safavid and Qajar Periods,” written by Sareh Moradi, has been published by Tarikhandish Publishing in 236 pages and released to the market for 280,000 Tomans.

The book has four chapters:

  • Chapter One; Leisure activities and entertainment of people during the Safavid and Qajar eras
  • Chapter Two; Mourning rituals and ceremonies of people during the Safavid and Qajar eras
  • Chapter Three; Comparison of religious and national festivals of Iranians during the Safavid and Qajar periods
  • Chapter Four; Comparison of religious and national mourning rituals of Iranians during the Safavid and Qajar periods.
