“The Call of the Wild” by Jack London comes to radio / Radio narration of a lasting novel
According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the radio play “The Call of the Wild,” based on the renowned novel “The Call of the Wild” by Jack London, produced by Zhaleh Mohammadali and directed by Amir Zendehdalan, will air on Radio Namayesh starting December 13th at 3 AM. Reruns of this program are scheduled for the same day at 12:30 PM and 7 PM.
The play narrates the story of Judge Miller’s favorite dog, stolen from its owner’s luxurious mansion in California and sold to a man named “Perrault.” Unwillingly, it journeys to the cold northern lands, where pulling sleds and facing merciless nature pushes it into a difficult test for survival.
Lida Shirmard was responsible for adapting this work for radio. Mohammadreza Ghobadifar serves as the sound effects designer, and Majid Ayineh is the sound engineer for this project.
A group of radio artists, including Negin Khajenasir, Bahram Sarvarinejad, Amir Abbas Tofighi, Mona Safi, Farshid Samadipour, Masoumeh Azizmhammadi, Fariba Taheri, Mohammad Majdzadeh, Buyuk Mirzaei, and Mohammad Aghamhammadi, perform roles in this radio play.
The radio play “The Call of the Wild” airs on Radio Namayesh on FM wave, frequency 107.5 MHz, taking audiences on an auditory journey through one of the most enduring literary works in the world.
