Hormozgani student donated his personal library books to a school
In an interview with a reporter from the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, Ehsan Shirvani discussed donating more than 150 volumes from his personal library to Salehin Model High School in Bastak, his former school and birthplace.
The Hormozgani student emphasized that he owes a great debt to this high school, continuing: “I donated these books to enrich the library of Salehin High School, encourage Bastak students’ interest in reading, and promote the culture of reading among students, and to commemorate Student Day.”
Expressing pleasure at the Book News Agency’s attention to this matter and the positive community reaction to this cultural act, he said: “Most of the books were in the field of novels, poetry, and literature, and some were textbooks.”
According to IBNA, Ehsan Shirvani was born on September 5, 2007, in Bastak and is currently a top student in English Language at Hormozgan State University.
