According to Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), Seyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, issued a message expressing condolences on the passing of Davood Shayestehkheslat, a veteran of the country’s printing industry.

The condolence message from the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance is as follows:

“In the Name of God

The passing of Master Davood Shayestehkheslat, one of the influential and well-known figures in Iran’s printing industry, has caused sorrow and grief. The deceased belonged to a generation of masters who spent a large part of their lives in workshops and printing houses, and with rare precision, experience, and perseverance, helped elevate this industry.

Master Shayestehkheslat was among the pioneers who considered promoting technical standards and training specialized personnel as his professional mission. His years of effort and attention to transferring knowledge and skills to younger generations are very important for maintaining the quality of Iran’s printing industry.

I offer my condolences on this loss to his esteemed family, students, and colleagues, and I ask Almighty God for divine mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, and patience, health, and peace for the survivors.”
