Two successful surgeries performed and Amirkhani’s return to the intensive care unit

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), Reza Amirkhani’s official website channel reported: “This morning, two surgeries were performed for Reza. The first was a tracheostomy, which creates a stable, controllable, and secure airway through the trachea. The second was the stabilization of a detachment in the pelvic bones. Both operations were successfully completed before noon, and Reza has been returned to the ICU.”

Reza Amirkhani, a renowned author, was injured on Sunday, Azar 9, 1404, due to a paragliding fall and is currently hospitalized. According to doctors, Amirkhani has sustained fractures and injuries in several areas and is under observation and treatment in the intensive care unit.

Reza Amirkhani was born in 1973 in Tehran and studied Mechanical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology.
