“Sahra Mard” to be Performed from December 8th at Mehr Theater
According to the public relations of Sooreh Theater Club, the play “Sahra Mard,” co-written by Shahrooz Iri and Asghar Garousi, directed by Shahrooz Iri, and in cooperation with the Art Bureau of Golestan Province and Sooreh Theater Club, will be staged in Tehran from Monday, December 8th, after its performances in Golestan Province. Simultaneously with the approaching start of the second round of performances of this theatrical work, its poster was unveiled.
This work, an adaptation of the novel “Mati Khan” by Abdolrahman Onagh, narrates the resistance and bravery of Turkmens against oppression and tyranny, and in a historical narrative, it re-presents Turkmen culture to the audience.
Mohammadreza Moloudi, Rouhollah Mojallali, Asal Latif, Mehdi Eftekhari-Far, Mehrshad Mehrpouyan, Matin Khozeini, Gonashkhojeh, Elnaz Nafaspour, Rouhollah (Rahi) Saeeri, Baran Salehi, Maral Kord, Abolfazl Paknia, Hadiyeh Chaparli are the main actors of this play, and Somayeh Azari, Fatima Jahantigh, Shadi Shahriari, Sarina Amini Amjad, Mobina Pourghaz form the performance group of “Sahra Mard.”
“Sahra Mard” will be staged every day from December 8th at 6:30 PM at the Mehr Theater of Hozeh Honari, and ticket sales for its performances are available to enthusiasts on the Tiwall website.
