Unveiling of the book ‘In Search of Lost Time’
According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the book “In Search of Lost Time,” a collection of articles about the early days of the Cultural Revolution in Iranian universities, written by Maryam Peyman, will be unveiled by the Rahman Institute on Student Day.
At this session, which will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, Abdolhossein Nikgohar, Elaheh Koulai, Mohammad Farnoud, Mohammad Ali Seyednejad, and Maryam Peyman will deliver speeches.
More than 80 researchers and individuals involved with the Cultural Revolution in Iranian universities, both from within Iran and abroad, collaborated on the compilation of this book to provide and illustrate a clearer picture of the ambiguities surrounding Iranian universities after the Islamic Revolution and the event of the Cultural Revolution.
The book “In Search of Lost Time” will be unveiled on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM, at Central Book City, located on Shariati Street, above Motahari Street, at the corner of Kalateh Alley.
This event is organized in cooperation with Gam-e Now Publications and Central Book City, and attendance is free for all interested parties. Additionally, the book will be sold with a 20% discount until Student Day.
