The Life and Times of ‘Azar Fakhr’ Enters the Book Market

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), Azar Fakhr had an eventful life, intertwined with difficult failures and great victories. She was a strong, determined, and dignified woman. She was passionate about knowledge and charting new paths. She simultaneously experienced work at a high level in teaching, at a reform and rehabilitation center, at Central Hospital (a convalescent home for terminally ill cancer patients), and, most notably, in theater and television acting.

The tragedy occurred when, at the peak of her maturity, prominence, and popularity in the realm of art, she was forced to leave her homeland. Separated from her friends and the roar of audiences, she spent four decades in anxious exile and, with the dream of standing on stage again, passed away. And now, this book is a dedication to her, and in her honor; a tribute to all women who, on the tumultuous heights of this land’s history, stood wounded and suffering, shone brightly, and became the light in the world’s darkness.

The Life and Times of “Azar Fakhr” is the result of conversations with Amin Haghre and has been published by Ney Publishing. This book, with 444 pages and priced at 580,000 Tomans, has entered the book market.
