The book “Island Tales” was unveiled in Kish

According to the reporter of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, the executive secretary of the Kish Book Fair announced the unveiling of the book “Island Tales” in Kish.

Davood Radmand, while positively evaluating the side events of the Kish Book Fair, stated: The book “Island Tales,” which includes manuscripts and stories by Kish students, was unveiled with considerable reception. Last year, another book by Kish students was also unveiled at the book fair.

He further explained: In the Shahnameh reading competition, 60 Shahnameh readers from various age groups competed. With the presence of specialized judges, the top participants were selected, and their certificates of appreciation and cash prizes will be awarded tomorrow (November 30th) at the closing ceremony of the book fair.

Radmand also mentioned: In the English speaking event, 120 people participated and competed, and the selected individuals from different age groups will also be honored at the final ceremony.

The 6th Kish Book Fair, running from November 22nd to November 30th, 2025, will host students every morning from 9:00 to 13:30, and in the afternoon, from 16:00 to 22:00, it will welcome the general public of Kish residents, guests, and the reading community.
