Kish Book Fair Should Become Permanent

According to Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, Asadollah Alizadeh, Cultural Deputy of Kish Free Zone, described the holding of the book fair as an important event in the cultural sphere of Kish Island and added: We are striving for the Kish Book Fair to become permanent and be held annually.

The Cultural and Social Deputy of Kish Free Zone Organization stated that books and study are one of the two strong recommendations of the Prophet of Islam to the Muslim community and said: The dissemination of Islamic and human knowledge and wisdom has occurred through books, and humanity has achieved this level of progress in all dimensions thanks to books.

He described the holding of the book fair in Kish as a catalyst for cultural dynamism and creating motivation among the people of study and culture in this corner of Islamic Iran and continued: The book fair is one of the few events that about 90% of Kish residents welcome and visit.

Alizadeh also stated: This event improves the status of knowledge and awareness of our citizens and children, and we also have a duty to do what is within our capacity to disseminate knowledge.

The sixth Kish Book Fair will host Kish residents, guests, and the book-reading community from November 22nd to 30th, 2025.
