According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Mashhad, the book “Volunteers in the Library: A Practical Guide for Librarians,” authored by Allison Renner, was published by the Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Document Center of Astan Quds Razavi.

This book, authored by Allison Renner, an experienced librarian and researcher in the field of library services, was published in 1404 (Persian calendar) with a group translation and scientific editing by Najmeh Seyeddokht and Seyed Abbas Marjani.

This practical work was compiled with the aim of providing practical solutions for the management, recruitment, and organization of volunteer forces in libraries.

The author, with a fluid language and a pragmatic approach, has examined various aspects of volunteers’ presence in library environments and provided clear guidelines for planning and implementing voluntary activities.

The content of the book is designed to be compatible with the structure of various types of libraries, including public, academic, specialized, and school libraries.
