Works by Arvandkenar writers and poets unveiled
According to Khabaronline News Agency reporter from Abadan, in a ceremony attended by the Friday Prayer Leader of Arvandkenar, the Head of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Head of the Department of Education of Arvandkenar, tribal elders, regional philanthropists, local officials, and a group of artists at the Shahid Hossein Yousefallahi Cultural Complex, five books were unveiled: “Chief of Numbers” by Maher Mohammadnejadian, “Al-Bahrīyah Geography” by Seyed Mohammad Mousavi, “Sorrow of Thousands of Birds” by Ghafour Ebrahimi, “Mahdavi Society” by Masoumeh Ebadi, and “In Our Time, Humans” by Ameneh Gheriti. The authors of these works were also honored.
Hojjatoleslam Wal-Muslimin Abdolrahman Mansouri, in this literary gathering, while offering condolences for the Fatimid Days (SA) and commemorating Book and Reading Week, stated: “There are brilliant talents in Arvandkenar, but positive steps must be taken to promote and educate the youth.”
The Friday Prayer Leader of Arvandkenar added: “If a teenager has a brilliant talent in writing, it is the duty of cultural institutions to support, guide, and strengthen it.”
Emphasizing that a book is not just an object, he said: “A book is an experience, a destination, a world, and we believe every book has a soul.”
