Nihavandian’s Interpretation of Jahangiri’s Memoirs Regarding the 96 and 1400 Debates in the Book ‘In the Thought of Iran’/ Iran’s Economic History is ‘A History of Repeated Mistakes’

According to Khabaronline News Agency, Mohammad Nahavandian, head of the President’s office in the eleventh government, at the unveiling ceremony of the book ‘In the Thought of Iran’ written by Eshaq Jahangiri, referred to this work as one of the important examples of political and economic historiography and said: “Jahangiri’s historiography is a type of chronicle; an approach rarely seen in our political history and a blessed event for the correct narration of the country’s executive management.”

According to IRNA, Nahavandian, pointing out that in this type of historiography, policies and events are analyzed in their real context, said: “Mr. Jahangiri stated in the book that in the electoral debates of 96 and 1400, many attacks were raised without considering the country’s severe conditions – from the pressures of the Trump administration to the Corona crisis. Understanding politics without seeing the context misleads judgment.”
