Leader’s Praise for Three Books: ‘Unfinished Fever’, ‘Traveler of Fire and Snow’, and ‘Lady Moon’

Concurrently with the days of the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (peace be upon her) and Book Week, with the aim of ‘introducing real role models’ and ‘explaining the roles of heroic Iranian women’, the ceremony for the publication of the Leader’s commendations for the books ‘Unfinished Fever’, ‘Traveler of Fire and Snow’, and ‘Lady Moon’ was held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall, as part of the 21st commemoration of Jihad and Resistance Literature.

The Leader’s Commendation on the book ‘Unfinished Fever’ (A narrative of the life of Shahla Monzavi, the mother of the martyred veteran Hossein Dokhanchi):

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

This book presents a clear picture of the agonizing pain and suffering of a paraplegic veteran and the endless sorrow and efforts of his patient and resilient mother and other relatives. The narrator and author deserve praise. God’s peace be upon the martyr Hossein Dokhanchi and his forbearing and grieving mother.

The Leader’s Commendation on the book ‘Lady Moon’ (The life story of Khanumnaz Alinejad, wife of martyr Shirali Soltani from Shiraz):

In His Exalted Name.

This book is entirely about love and faith. The author has, to the best of her ability, unveiled this love and faith with her eloquent literature and vibrant taste. But however much I describe and explain love/when I arrive at love, I am ashamed of it. What we must see with the eye of the heart is more than what we have read with the eye of the body. The hidden layers must be seen and understood in another way. Perhaps the heavenly voice of Haj Shirali while reciting Dua Kumayl might help in this regard, or the tears of the martyr’s wife on his tombstone. The sorrows of this lady saddened me, like the sorrows and stories of other beloved martyrs’ wives and mothers. I read the spiritual and moral states of the martyr and his mourners, in many instances, from behind a veil of tears, just as in the biographies of other martyrs.

Commendation on the book ‘Traveler of Fire and Snow’ (The eventful life story of martyr Saeid Ghahari from the words of his wife, Farahnaz Rasouli):

In His Exalted Name.

This is a new and innovative work in writing the lives of a martyr and a martyr’s wife; attractive and impactful… In its beautiful and sweet composition, the narrator’s sweet mind and language has certainly been effective, but undoubtedly, the author’s art, creativity, and innovation have also played a significant role. God’s peace be upon the martyr Ghahari and his patient, wise, and courageous wife, and praise be to the tasteful and artistic author of the book.
