IBNA Reporter in Fars Honored as a Reading Supporter
According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Shiraz, the ceremony commemorating the Day of Book, Reading, and Librarian in Fars province was held on Wednesday afternoon at the Shiraz University Club, alongside the national ‘Hero’ event.
In this ceremony, attended by Hossein-Ali Amiri, Governor of Fars, and Mohammad-Hossein Firoozi, Director General of Public Libraries of Fars, Mohammad-Hossein Nikoupoor, a reporter for Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), was honored as a supporter of public libraries in Fars province.
During this event, which celebrated 49 activists in the field of books and reading, 17 selected librarians from Fars province, Mohammad-Hassan Asadi, Mayor of Shiraz, and Mohsen Papari, Director General of Management and Planning of Fars province, were also recognized as supporters of reading.
