According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Zahedan, the ‘Book Party’ event was held for the first time in the country, hosted by Sistan and Baluchestan Province, at the Shahid Moslem Keikha Cultural Center in Zahedan.

Mohseni, Deputy of Economy and Culture at the Iran House of Book and Literature, initiated the ‘Book Party’ among a large number of librarians, trainers, educational deputies, officials of cultural institutions, and book enthusiasts.

In this program, attendees, after receiving books donated by the General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the province and the Iran House of Book, engaged in collective reading for 15 minutes in absolute silence, experiencing this unique event for the first time.

The remarkable welcome from the attendees for this creative method was one of the important highlights of this cultural event.

This ceremony was organized by the General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, with the participation of other cultural bodies such as the General Directorate of Education, the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, and the General Directorate of Public Libraries of the province.
