The book ‘Fellow Traveler of Fire and Snow’ was introduced and reviewed.
According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Hamedan, the session for introducing and reviewing the book ‘Fellow Traveler of Fire and Snow’ and its unveiling, which is a narration of the life of Martyr Saeed Ghahari Saeed, was held on Tuesday afternoon.
History-making women should be introduced to society
At this ceremony, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hamedan stated: We must introduce martyrs as superior role models to society.
Ayatollah Habibollah Shabani stated: Today, when the enemy wants to introduce its role models to our youth and presents another interpretation of women in society, we need to introduce more history-making and influential women.
He added: More should be said about revolutionary women who are effective in advancing society.
The role of martyrs’ wives in preserving religious values is very important
The commander of Ansar al-Hussein (AS) Corps of Hamedan Province also stated at this ceremony, emphasizing the importance and greatness of martyrdom in the path of truth and righteousness: Martyrs, with their steadfastness and resilience, kept Islam at its peak.
Hassan Zarekamali emphasized: The country’s greatness, security, peace, and unparalleled victories are indebted to the pure blood of martyrs and the patience of their families.
He recalled the role and position of the martyrs, especially Martyr Allahdad and Martyr Ghahari Saeed, who strengthened the foundations of the system and the revolution with their lives and martyrdom, and said: Their blessings and effects on society are greater than their physical presence.
The commander of Ansar al-Hussein (AS) Corps of Hamedan Province, referring to the role of women in supporting and accompanying martyrs, emphasized: The role of women, especially martyrs’ wives, is very important in realizing pure Muhammadi Islam and preserving religious values.
Transferring the experiences of martyrs’ lives to youth is essential
The Director-General of Hamedan Province Public Libraries also said: November 19th has been named Hero’s Day, and three books endorsed by the Leader are to be unveiled, one of which is ‘Fellow Traveler of Fire and Snow,’ which will be unveiled today in Hamedan.
He stated: This book is the story of a man from the lineage of love, which is scheduled to be unveiled with the presence of the family, narrator, and author of the book, so we can pay our respects to this martyr.
The Director-General of Hamedan Province Public Libraries noted: Implementing these programs can lead to the transfer of martyrs’ life experiences to the young generation and provide an opportunity to learn about the role of women in enduring the hardships of war.
The life of Martyr Ghahari is migratory and adventurous
Farahnaz Rasouli, the martyr’s wife and narrator of the book ‘Fellow Traveler of Fire and Snow,’ also said: ‘I was not worthy of the endorsement, and I had no information; when they informed me of this, I had a strange lump in my throat.’
The narrator of the book ‘Fellow Traveler of Fire and Snow’ stated that Haj Saeed Ghahari, along with Martyr Shadmani and Martyr Hamedani, were among the core founders of the Hamedan Revolutionary Guard, and Haj Saeed was the first commander of the Nahavand Revolutionary Guard. She said: ‘Our life, as mentioned in the book, has been a migratory and adventurous life in border and war zones.’
She added that the martyrdom of Haj Saeed Ghahari was an honorable martyrdom: ‘Martyr Ghahari was on a clearance operation on the Azerbaijan border when, during his return, they clashed with the PJAK group and achieved martyrdom.’
She added: ‘For recording the memoirs of this book, Ms. Farzaneh Mardi visited our home in Tehran for eight months, and after one year, this book became a novel, and those who have read it say it is an appealing book.’
Books named after martyrs should be taught in schools and universities
One of Hamedan’s writers also stated that in this book we are dealing with a documentary novel and said: ‘Martyr Ghahari has been involved in work since his struggles began during the Revolution, and the story of his life from the revolutionary era is told in this book.’
Seyed Meysam Mousavian stated: ‘The narrator in this book also spoke of revolutionary struggles, which thus fills some narrative gaps.’
Referring to the fact that the reality of the story is clear line by line in this book, he stated: ‘Our new generation and young children should become familiar with these books, although it is necessary for such books to be taught in universities and schools so that our youth understand how our women strive.’
He clarified: ‘The martyr’s wife’s war with Komalah in the city, the war with hunger, the war with cold, and the war with the lack of security are beautifully depicted line by line in the book.’
Mousavian, referring to the book’s name, said: ‘The naming of the book has also been done well, and the audience faces a paradox and conflict; ‘snow and fire’ both burn and symbolize heat and cold.’
