The book ‘Sweet Era’ was unveiled at the Rudbar Hormozgan Book Festival.
Ehsan Rezaei, in an interview with the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, said: Concurrent with the 33rd Iranian Book Week, the book festival and the unveiling of the book “Sweet Era” were held with widespread reception from people and local officials in Rudbar village, Bandar Khamir County, in western Hormozgan.
The head of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran’s first wetland global city, while appreciating the literary and book-reading community of Bandar Khamir, stated: The center of Rudbar rural district hosted a cultural and magnificent book-centric event; an event that, within the framework of Book and Reading Week, displayed a fresh manifestation of love for knowledge and culture.
He continued: In this ceremony, the valuable book “Sweet Era”, authored by Shirin Darsayi, was unveiled; a work with a pleasant title, promising narratives of life and human experiences.
Rezaei added: A group of prominent poets and writers of the province attended the ceremony and created an atmosphere full of literary and artistic enthusiasm by performing poetry readings and storytelling.
The head of Bandar Khamir’s Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance further stated: Mohammad Mirdadi, Deputy for Cultural and Media Affairs of the General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance, in a profound speech, addressed the importance of books in the advancement of society and described books as a lamp that illuminates the path of thought and the future.
Ehsan Rezaei, thanking the synergy of cultural and social institutions of Bandar Khamir, said: On the sidelines of this event, a book exhibition was held in cooperation with the Islamic Council, the Rural District Office, and the Rudbar Cultural and Quranic Complex, and the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Bandar Khamir County, which was met with widespread public reception, showcasing the people’s thirst for knowledge and study.
The head of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Khamir County finally acknowledged: The significant reception of the 33rd Book Week and Reading Festival showed that books and culture continue to be the axis of unity and progress in society. Therefore, this ceremony, as a festival of thought and art, breathed new life into the cultural body of Rudbar.
According to IBNA, the planning and execution of this festival were carried out by the efforts of the Islamic Council and the Rural District Office of the village, with the support of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Bandar Khamir, and included various cultural programs.
