Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance to Travel to Lorestan

Azam Ravanshad, in an interview with the correspondent of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Khorramabad, stated: The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance will make a one-day trip to the province on Thursday, November 20th, to attend the closing ceremony of the 37th Lorestan Provincial Theater Festival in Borujerd and also the 10th Lorestan Province Book of the Year Festival in Khorramabad.

The Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Lorestan considered the presence of the high-ranking Minister in Lorestan an opportunity to strengthen the province’s cultural standing, adding: The Lorestan Theater Festival and the Book of the Year are two prominent events that demonstrate the immense cultural and artistic capacities of the province.

Ravanshad also referred to other programs for Seyyed Abbas Salehi’s presence in the province, saying: Meeting with the family of a martyred colleague from the General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance, granting an artistic degree to a prominent poet of the province, and meeting with the representative of the Supreme Leader in Lorestan are among these programs.
