Book and Dialogue Session Held at Zahedan Detention Center

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Zahedan, coinciding with the arrival of Book and Reading Week, a cultural session titled “Book and Dialogue” was held at Zahedan Detention Center. This program was implemented with the aim of promoting reading culture, strengthening individual skills, and familiarizing inmates with influential books in the fields of psychology and self-knowledge, with the presence of the center’s psychologist.

During this session, the detention center psychologist introduced the book “From Bad to Good Mood,” and while explaining its main content, discussed with the inmates the importance of recognizing negative thoughts, methods of managing emotions, and scientific approaches to improving mental health.

Continuing this session, inmates also expressed their personal opinions and experiences regarding mental concerns and psychological issues, exchanging views in a friendly atmosphere.

Also, on the occasion of this week, another program titled “Book Introduction and Group Reading” was held with the presence of inmates, duty personnel, and cultural officials of Zahedan Detention Center. In this session, several prominent works in the fields of ethics, self-improvement, and life skills were introduced, and parts of them were collectively read by the participants.
