According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Arak, Ehsan Mansouri, the Director-General of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults of Markazi Province, stated at this ceremony: The main goal of holding the ‘Rouhollah Award’ is to produce and introduce works that, with a cultural, artistic, and literary approach, help the new generation gain a deeper understanding of the personality and thoughts of Imam Khomeini (RA), and pave the way for promoting the values of the Islamic Revolution among children and adolescents.

He added: This event is considered a valuable opportunity for the new generation to become familiar with the life and thoughts of Imam Khomeini (RA) and is held for the general public, especially the student community. The closing ceremony of the second edition of this event will be held concurrently with the birth anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA) on December 10th of this year.

Mansouri clarified: The ‘Rouhollah Award’ is not a competitive festival and does not have a public call for submissions; instead, the secretariat of this event purposefully collects works from artists and cultural activists in specialized fields including storytelling and podcast, story and poetry, calligraphy, poster design, and photo-text.

Continuing the ceremony, Mohammad Amin Bagheri, the Director-General of the Social and Cultural Affairs Office of the Markazi Governorate and Secretary of the Policy-Making Council for this event, said: All of us are responsible for introducing the personal dimensions of Imam Khomeini (RA) and must take steps in this direction by utilizing the cultural and social capacities of the province.

He, referring to the transfer of the secretariat of the second ‘Rouhollah Award’ to the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, considered this action effective and added: Understanding the capacities of this institution led to programs being pursued with a specialized and targeted approach.
