Time of funeral and farewell with Abolghasem Faghiri announced

According to the reporter of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Shiraz, the farewell and funeral ceremony for Abolghasem Faghiri, a researcher, writer, and Farsologist, will be held on Thursday, November 12th at 9 AM with prayers at Saadi’s Tomb.

Then, his body will be processed towards Shah Cheragh Shrine in Shiraz.

Also, a memorial ceremony for Abolghasem Faghiri will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, November 13th, 2025, at Homa Hotel.

According to IBNA, Abolghasem Faghiri passed away on Tuesday, November 10th at the age of 88.
