Implementation of the ‘Book Donation to Public Libraries’ Plan in Zanjan Province

Implementation of the ‘Book Donation to Public Libraries’ Plan in Zanjan Province

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Zanjan, the virtuous tradition of ‘book donation to public libraries’ will be implemented from November 14 to 10, 2025 (Aban 24 to 20, 1404 in the Persian calendar) in the public libraries of Zanjan province.

The process of book donation is a virtuous tradition through which people, organizations, publishers, and others donate their surplus books to public libraries, thereby making their unused books available to other individuals.

With the upcoming 33rd edition of Iran’s Book Week, individuals can donate their unused books to the province’s public libraries, thereby taking a significant step towards enriching library resources and promoting the culture of study and reading.

So far, in various phases of the ‘Book Donation’ plan’s implementation in the province, good successes have been achieved in promoting the culture of book donation to public libraries. Through these efforts, thousands of copies of books from citizens, various segments of the public, and government organizations have been donated to the province’s public libraries and made available to readers and book enthusiasts.
