Hormozgani Poet Passes Away

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, the Secretary of the Hormozgan Poetry and Sea Association announced the passing of Mansour Zamirinejad (Faraz), former head of the Hormozgan Poetry Association, a member of the province’s Poetry and Sea Association, a member of the Behesht Jonoob Poetry Association, and the creator of the poetry book ‘Footprints of Love’, due to cardiac arrest.

Masoumeh Moshadi continued: Zamirinejad was a veteran and prominent poet from Hormozgan, originally from Roodan county in the northeast of the province. He had created numerous poems with romantic, mystical, ethical, social, religious, and national themes in the forms of ghazal, mathnawi, tarkibband, qet’e, and ruba’i.

Mansour Zamirinejad (Faraz) passed away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday evening (November 10th) and his body will be escorted and buried in his hometown tomorrow, Wednesday.
