A section on the back cover of this book reads: ‘After a while, you realize you carry pieces of the night with you even in the day, things you want to hide in the darkness. People’s pockets are one of those places. Sometimes something falls out of the darkness that you don’t want anyone to see… for example, this knife… Incidentally, women carry larger pieces of the night with them. They hide more things and that’s what makes them attractive; that’s the nature of darkness!’
