Revisiting the Life and Times of the Founder of the ‘Al-Qar’ah’ Secret Patrols

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the book “The Assassination Candidate,” narrating the life of Martyr Ahmad Eskandari, Deputy Commander of the 27th Mohammad Rasoolullah (PBUH) Division and founder of the secret patrols of “Al-Qar’ah,” authored by Masoumeh Mohammadi, has been published by 27 Ba’that Publications.

Martyr Ahmad Eskandari was born in 1957 in Chenar village, Markazi province. Years before the revolution, he became acquainted with the school of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Tehran and entered the revolutionary struggles. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, he joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Following his efforts in the protection and operations sections of the IRGC and deployment to the western fronts of the country, he returned to Tehran and sought to combat the uprising of the Munafeqin (hypocrites).

By establishing the secret patrols of Al-Qar’ah, he became a member of the Command Council of Tehran patrols and later was appointed as the Deputy of Operations for the Tehran IRGC. After the successful experience of forming secret patrols, he was entrusted with the formation of the overt Sarallah patrols. After organizing the Sarallah patrols, he was dispatched to the southern fronts. There, as the Second Deputy of the 27th Mohammad Rasoolullah (PBUH) Division, he sacrificed his life in the Preliminary Valfajr Operation and was martyred on 27 Bahman 1361.

This work narrates twenty-six years of Martyr Ahmad Eskandari’s life, including his childhood, adolescence, the Revolution, protection and operations, combating the Munafeqin, and ultimately his participation in the Preliminary Valfajr battle and martyrdom.

The book “The Assassination Candidate,” authored by Masoumeh Mohammadi, has been published in 350 pages by 27 Ba’that Publications and released to the market.
