Review session for the ‘A Footnote’ series
According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), this session will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM, with the presence of Mohammadreza Yousefi, a children’s and young adult literature author, and Koorosh Parsanejad, an illustrator and graphic designer.
The “A Footnote” series, published by the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, comprises five volumes titled “The Seven Labors of Rostam,” “Arash the Archer,” “Gordafarid,” “Zal,” and “Zahhak.”
The first volume of this series, “The Seven Labors of Rostam,” is illustrated by Atefeh Ghanbarian; the second, “Arash the Archer,” by Negar Orang; the third and fourth, “Gordafarid” and “Zal,” by Mahshid Darabi; and the fifth, “Zahhak,” is adorned with illustrations by Morteza Yazdani.
This session is held as a continuation of reviewing the Institute’s published works and strengthening the flow of critique and dialogue in the field of children’s and young adult literature.
