Closing Ceremony of the Second ‘Rouhollah Award’ Cultural Event to be Held on December 10

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Arak, Ehsan Mansouri, Director General of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults of Markazi Province, stated at this meeting that the purpose of holding the second ‘Rouhollah Award’ is to explain and introduce the personal and social dimensions of Imam Khomeini (RA). He added that this event will be held in six sections: storytelling and podcast, calligraphy, story and poetry, poster design, and photo-text.

He further added that this festival is a valuable opportunity for the new generation to become familiar with the thoughts and practical conduct of Imam Khomeini (RA), and it will be implemented with a focus on the student community. Its closing ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, coinciding with Imam Khomeini’s birthday.

Mansouri announced the transfer of the secretariat of the second ‘Rouhollah Award’ to the General Department of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults of Markazi Province. He stated that this secretariat is responsible for following up on the policy-making council’s resolutions, drafting an operational plan, and coordinating specialized committees, including the judging and selection committee, the publicity and information committee, and the support and final conference organization committee.

Mohammad Amin Bagheri, Secretary of the Policy-making Council for the second ‘Rouhollah Award’ event of Markazi Province, also stated at this meeting that Imam Khomeini (RA) is one of the most important identity components of the Iranian nation. He emphasized that the potential of this unique personality should be utilized to strengthen the identity components of society, and expressed hope that with the continuation of this event in the future, it would be held at national and international levels.

Finally, the members of the policy-making council reviewed the draft call for entries and the executive guidelines of the festival, and presented their suggestions for improving the organizing process.
