Call for Entries for Bandar Abbas Photo Book Published

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, the call for photographers from Hormozgan province to submit their works for the publication of a photo book of Bandar Abbas city, aiming to visually document the identity and life of its people, has been issued by Bandar Abbas Municipality.

Photographers can submit their works on various topics including, but not limited to, art, nature, southern rituals, historical and cultural aspects of the city; local and religious customs and traditions; urban and natural landscapes; the sea, docks, and port occupations; guilds, markets, and daily life; old and new neighborhoods of Bandar Abbas, urban elements, parks, and squares; traditional and local bazaars; nature, mountains, handicrafts, and sports, to the Communications and International Affairs Department of Bandar Abbas Municipality.

The deadline for submission of works is the end of Aban 1404 (Persian calendar, approx. Nov 2025). In the first stage, the size of the works for review and approval should not exceed one megabyte. Non-in-person submissions are also possible after coordination.

According to IBNA, this book will be compiled and published for the first time with the aim of creating the most comprehensive visual collection of the metropolis of Bandar Abbas.
