According to Mehr reporter, Hojjatoleslam Seyed Ali Hosseini, on Tuesday evening at the opening ceremony of the book exhibition in Deyr city, commemorated the anniversary of the capture of the US den of espionage, the memory of Imam Khomeini (RA) and student martyrs, emphasizing the necessity of increasing the awareness of the young generation about America’s crimes through studying the documents of the den of espionage, and stated: America’s enmity with Iran began before the revolution, with the coup of August 19, 1953 (Mordad 28).

Referring to the occasion of Aban 13 (November 4), the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) exile in 1964, Student Day, and the day of the capture of the US den of espionage, he added: The capture of the US den of espionage was a great victory for the Iranian nation.

Hosseini, referring to the repeated recommendation of the Supreme Leader, called for the complete inclusion of the documents of the den of espionage in students’ textbooks so that the young generation would become more familiar with America’s dirty conspiracies.

He considered the role of books decisive in gaining information and enhancing societal knowledge, stating: The young generation should visit this exhibition and utilize its books.

The Friday prayer leader of Deyr, referring to Public Culture Day, emphasized: We hope to succeed in safeguarding Islamic culture.

The head of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Deyr County also said: The Bandar Deyr Book Exhibition, titled “Let’s Read for Iran,” is an essential step towards fostering awareness, reading, and societal excellence.

Gholamreza Shearani added: This cultural event, organized by Shenood Publications, will host enthusiasts until Azar 12 (December 3) in Deyr City Gallery, where 10,000 volumes of books across three thousand titles have been offered.

He announced the distribution of 40,000 book purchase vouchers from this exhibition with a 50% discount across the county, stating: Books play a key role in public development.

Shearani, referring to the upcoming Public Culture Day, said: Undoubtedly, books and reading are vital components of public culture that play a significant role in the growth and excellence of society.
