Ronald David Laing’s Knots available in Persian

TEHRAN – A Persian translation of Scottish psychiatrist R.D. Laing’s book “Knots” has recently been published by Iranian publisher Arjomand. This is the first Persian version of the widely influential work.

Translated by Maryam Soleimani, the book explores human relationships and the complex ways individuals perceive and interact with each other, often leading to psychological “knots.” Laing’s unique style blends poetry, prose, and dialogue.

“Knots” has been a significant work in anti-psychiatry movement and existential psychology since its original publication in 1970. Its availability in Persian will open new avenues for Iranian readers to engage with Laing’s profound insights.
