Qeshm to Host Book and Library Festival During Book Week

IBNA News Agency – Qeshm Island will host its annual Book and Library Festival during the upcoming National Book Week.

According to the Iranian Book News Agency (IBNA), this festival aims to promote reading, foster cultural exchange, and highlight the importance of libraries as vital community resources in the region.

Abbas Shahin, the head of Qeshm’s Cultural Affairs Department, stated: “The festival will feature a wide array of activities, including book exhibitions, author meet-and-greets, literary workshops, and storytelling sessions for children, designed to engage visitors of all ages.”

The event underscores Qeshm’s commitment to cultural development and its role in making books and knowledge accessible to both residents and tourists, reinforcing the island’s status as a cultural hub during Book Week.
