The Iranian National Library and Archives will host a practical workshop focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in creating and managing book catalogues. Scheduled for early next month, the two-day workshop aims to equip librarians and information science professionals with the skills to leverage AI tools for efficient and accurate cataloging processes. Topics will include automated metadata generation, intelligent search functionalities, and predictive analytics for collection development.

Dr. Amir Hosseini, a leading expert in AI and library science, will be the main instructor. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops for hands-on exercises. This initiative is part of the library’s ongoing efforts to modernize its services and integrate advanced technologies into library operations.
