The first practical workshop on book catalog production with the help of artificial intelligence was held today at the Center for Documentation and Information of the Qom Seminary’s Library.

According to IBNA, Seyed Mohammad Reza Hosseini, the Secretary of the National Book Week in Qom, announced this news and said: This workshop aims to introduce the latest methods and technologies in book cataloging and information organization using artificial intelligence to librarians and experts in the field.

He added: Participants will learn practical skills and techniques to optimize and accelerate the process of creating and managing book catalogs, which significantly improves access to information and resources.

Hosseini emphasized the importance of using modern technologies in libraries, stating: Artificial intelligence has revolutionized various fields, and libraries are no exception. Utilizing AI in cataloging helps in providing more efficient and accurate services to researchers and students.

This workshop, attended by librarians from various institutions in Qom, included theoretical presentations and practical exercises, allowing participants to directly apply the learned concepts.
