Practical workshop on book catalog production with AI assistance

IBNA: A practical workshop on book catalog production with the assistance of artificial intelligence was held today, Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, at the “Book and Literature House of Iran” (خانه کتاب و ادبیات ایران) with the presence of several university professors and cultural figures.

The workshop aimed to introduce new methods in the publishing industry using advanced AI technologies to streamline and enhance the process of creating comprehensive and attractive book catalogs. Participants learned about various AI tools for text generation, image selection, and layout design suitable for digital and print catalogs.

Dr. Ali Ahmadi, the workshop instructor, emphasized the importance of adopting modern technologies for improving the efficiency and reach of literary works. He stated that AI could significantly reduce the time and cost associated with catalog production, making it easier for publishers to showcase their new releases.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a demonstration of practical applications of AI in cataloging.
