Givaran Village of Qatur Acquired a Library

Givaran village, part of Qatur district in Khoy county, West Azerbaijan province, has acquired a rural library.

According to Ibna reporter, this library was inaugurated in the presence of local officials and book enthusiasts. The construction of this library aims to promote reading culture in less developed areas.

This project was completed in cooperation with the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the province and the Public Libraries Foundation of the country. It is expected that this library will play a significant role in elevating the cultural level of the village.

Givaran Library includes various sections such as a children’s and young adult section, a general books archive, and a reading hall, and is expected to become a cultural hub for the villagers.

A group of villagers also attended the inauguration ceremony and welcomed this initiative. Officials hope that by increasing the per capita reading rate, they will witness more growth and prosperity in the region.
