Unveiling of the Mehrīz Book Exhibition Documentary

Yazd, IRNA – A documentary film titled “Mehrīz Book Exhibition; A Narrative of a Cultural Event” was unveiled in Mehrīz County. This film covers the activities and achievements of last year’s book exhibition in the county, which was widely welcomed by the public and officials. At the ceremony, the governor of Mehrīz emphasized the importance of promoting a reading culture and appreciated the efforts of the exhibition organizers.

He added: “The Mehrīz Book Exhibition plays a significant role in introducing new works and creating an opportunity for direct interaction between publishers and readers. We hope that such events can help increase the per capita reading rate in the country.” This documentary was produced by a group of local filmmakers and is scheduled to be screened at several domestic festivals. At the end of the ceremony, the film’s production team and several local authors were honored.
