The mission of mosque cultural centers is to introduce Imam’s thought to today’s generation.

Hojjat al-Islam Hossein Akbari, head of the cultural and artistic centers of mosques, emphasized the vital role of these centers in familiarizing the younger generation with the profound thoughts and teachings of Imam Khomeini. He stated that the primary mission of mosque cultural centers today is to effectively present the principles of the Imam’s intellectual legacy to contemporary youth.

Speaking at a national gathering of cultural center managers, Akbari highlighted the need for innovative and engaging methods to transmit these teachings. “Our youth are exposed to a myriad of ideas and influences,” Akbari noted, “and it is our responsibility to ensure that the pure, revolutionary thoughts of Imam Khomeini are not only accessible but also resonate deeply with them.”

He further elaborated on strategies, including the establishment of dedicated reading circles, the promotion of relevant publications and books, and the organization of interpretive workshops within mosque premises. These initiatives, he asserted, aim to foster a comprehensive understanding of the Imam’s perspective on various societal, political, and spiritual matters.

Akbari underscored that this endeavor is crucial for safeguarding the revolutionary values and guiding the intellectual development of the new generation. He urged all managers and cultural activists to redouble their efforts in creating dynamic and attractive environments that encourage intellectual inquiry and engagement with the Imam’s foundational texts.
