Publication of the Biography of a Scholar Who Was a Teacher to Shia Maraji al-Taqlid

The book “Ustad al-Fuqaha wa al-Mujtahidin,” a biography of the pious scholar Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Madani Tabrizi, has been published by Miras-e Shargh Publications.

Ayatollah Madani, who passed away on July 10, 2016, was a teacher to many current Shia Maraji al-Taqlid (sources of emulation) and prominent scholars of the Qom seminary.

This book, authored by Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Madani, the grandson of the late scholar, delves into various aspects of Ayatollah Madani’s life, including his scholarly journey, asceticism, piety, social activities, revolutionary struggles, and includes a section of his jurisprudential and principled writings.

The author has gathered information for this work by interviewing over 30 of Ayatollah Madani’s distinguished students, as well as his family and relatives.
