Pathology and Quality Improvement are Among the Goals of This Year’s Festival

A representative from the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) announced that this year’s “Book of the Year” festival will prioritize “pathology” (critical analysis) and quality improvement within the country’s publishing industry and literary landscape.

The official elaborated that the festival’s objectives extend beyond merely recognizing excellent books. They include a comprehensive assessment of current trends, challenges, and shortcomings in book production, distribution, and content creation, aiming to identify areas for strategic enhancement.

This proactive approach seeks to foster a more robust and dynamic literary ecosystem, encouraging higher standards for authors, publishers, and cultural institutions.
