New Literary Honor for Iran at BRICS Award
Iran has achieved a new literary honor by winning the BRICS Literary Award, as announced by Massoud Ahmadvand, Iran’s Cultural Attaché to Russia. The awards ceremony was held recently in Moscow, celebrating literary excellence among BRICS member states.
Two prominent Iranian literary figures were recognized for their significant contributions. Dr. Mohammad Reza Safdary received an award for his extensive research in the field of Iranian-Russian literary relations, highlighting the deep cultural and historical ties between the two nations.
Additionally, Dr. Hossein Behzadi was honored for his compelling novel, “The Silence of Water.” The international jury praised Behzadi’s work for its profound narrative, artistic merit, and its ability to resonate with a global audience, securing a prestigious recognition for Iranian contemporary literature.
