Announcement of the Names of Winners of the Children’s Poetry Festival
The secretariat of the Children’s Poetry Festival has officially announced the names of the selected poets, marking the conclusion of this year’s event.
According to Khabaronline, the festival, which aimed to discover and nurture young poetic talents across the nation, revealed its winners during a special ceremony. This year saw a significant increase in participation from various provinces.
Winners by Age Group:
- Category A (6-9 years):
- First Place: Ali Abbasi (Tehran)
- Second Place: Zahra Imani (Isfahan)
- Third Place: Mohammad Reza Ahmadi (Shiraz)
- Category B (10-13 years):
- First Place: Parisa Karimi (Mashhad)
- Second Place: Hossein Mousavi (Tabriz)
- Third Place: Narges Akbari (Yazd)
- Category C (14-17 years):
- First Place: Reza Soltani (Kerman)
- Second Place: Somayeh Norouzi (Rasht)
- Third Place: Amir Hossein Zahedi (Qom)
The festival’s secretary, Dr. Hassan Piran, stated, "We are immensely proud of the creativity and depth shown by these young poets. Their words are a testament to the rich literary future of our country."
"Promoting reading and creative expression among children and teenagers is a core mission of this festival," Dr. Piran added. "We hope these young talents continue their journey in the world of poetry."
The awards ceremony also featured poetry readings by some of the winners and musical performances. The organizers expressed their commitment to expanding the festival’s reach in future editions.
