Poetry, Story, and Narrative Nights Held in Bushehr and Isfahan

The first Poetry, Story, and Narrative Nights were held in Bushehr and Isfahan. According to a Mehr reporter, the inaugural Poetry, Story, and Narrative Nights, titled “Tale of the Sun,” were organized by the Cultural Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, in cooperation with the Pen Association of Iran and the General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Bushehr and Isfahan provinces. These events took place on November 8, 2023, in Bushehr, and on November 15, 2023, in Isfahan.

Ali Ramezani, Director General of Cultural Policy and Planning for Books and Book Reading at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, stated: “The objective of holding these nights is to strengthen national and local identity, celebrate the Persian language and literature, and introduce the literary capacities of each region.” He added that in Bushehr, poets and writers such as […] were present and presented their works. Similarly, in Isfahan, similar programs were held with the participation of prominent literati and artists.

The program was met with a widespread welcome from the public and literature enthusiasts and is planned to be held in other provinces in the future.
