A Selection of Poems by Shafiei Kadkani for Children Was Published

Tehran, IRNA – A new collection featuring selected poems by renowned Iranian poet Mohammad-Reza Shafiei Kadkani has been published for children. This initiative aims to introduce the younger generation to the rich literary heritage of one of contemporary Persian poetry’s most influential figures.

The collection, carefully curated to be age-appropriate, includes some of Kadkani’s best-known verses, re-imagined or selected for their themes of nature, childhood, and simple wisdom. Publishers hope this will foster an early appreciation for poetry among young readers.

Mohammad-Reza Shafiei Kadkani, born in 1939, is an esteemed poet, literary critic, and scholar. His extensive work has significantly contributed to modern Persian literature, and this new publication marks his continued relevance across different age groups.
