Institute announced that concurrent with our country’s participation at Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), the week of Iranian movies will be held.
According to the correspondent, quoting from the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI), as the guest of honor at the 24th Beijing International Book Fair, the Iranian officials have organized various programs to be held in the event. One of the programs which are scheduled to concurrent with the opening of Iran’s stand is the week of Iranian movies. The program will be held in cooperation between Organization for Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Beijing.
In this program which will be attended by top cultural officials of both Iran and China, six Iranian films will be screened: ‘The Salesman’ (2016) by Asqhar Farhadi; ‘Shirin’ (2000) by Abbas Kiarostami, ‘Rabies’ (2014) by Amir Ahmad Ansari; ‘Trench 143’ (2014) by Narges Abyar and ‘Jamehdaran’ (2014) by Hamid Reza Qotbi.
