The series Journeys in Iran through engaging stories and beautiful, expressive photographs, and a map of each journey presents a fresh outlook on the history, nature, customs, habits, and popular culture of this country.
After fifty years of traveling, making notes, researching, writing, and directing more than eighty documentary films, the experience and creativity of Manouchehr Tayyab, the prominent Iranian documentary-maker, reached a peak in the presentation of four books accompanying four long documentaries. The series Journeys in Iran consists of;
1. Persian Sea
2. Along the Wind in the Solitude of the Desert
3. Zagros, Cradle of Old Civilization
4. Alborz, the Birthplace of a Culture as Old as History defines the scope of Iran’s geographical and cultural borders, from prehistoric times until the present.
